There will also be a discussion surrounding corporate governance and how to leverage and grow your network to ensure you maximise your professional connections.
Joining the panel will be Bill Adams, Chairman & CEO of Targatek Inc., Jan Sanders, Trustee of The Association of Coloproctology in Great Britain and Ireland and of The Healthcare Management Trust, and Gwyn Thomas, one of Actuate’s Executive Coaches, Facilitators & IQA,. The panel will use their first-hand experience to provide valuable insights and tips and tricks for becoming a NED.
The session will begin at 12pm CST with a presentation on how to prepare, source and secure non-executive roles, followed by an interactive Q&A panel.

Our host for this evening is Pasquale Mazzuca, Actuate Global Executive Coach and Facilitator.
Pasquale has a career spanning over 3 decades and has worked across several industries for a variety of organizations at C-Suite level.
Joining Pasquale for the evening are three panellists;
Mr Adams is a highly regarded expert in the building and maintaining of boards. He has served on four NASDAQ boards and has been an interim CEO for six public companies helping guide boards through reorganization, SEC issues and insider buyouts. Adams has served on and chaired several committees within boards including finance, compensation, and board recruiting. He currently is the Chairman/CEO of his firm Targatek, Inc. where he presides over ten outside Board of Directors and four outside Board of Advisors. He also is the creator of a podcast series called “Boards That Work” conducted quarterly for two global firms that recruit, train and consult to boards.
Gwyn is a former senior police officer with a long track record of leadership successes and achievements in a highly complex and demanding 24-hour environment. He has achieved a successful career within the police service, within Non-Executive roles and in wider public life. He is the founding & Managing Director of his own ‘boutique’ management consultancy business and is now nationally and internationally recognized as a professional coach supervisor, coach, and leadership consultant and trainer. He has recently joined Actuate as an Executive Coach and Facilitator. Gwyn has been and remains a Non-Executive Director of several charitable sector organizations that work with the provision of independent supported housing, mental health and well-being and the Reserve Forces and Cadet Association (Wales). He has recently been appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant within the County of West Glamorgan.
Jan was a partner at City Law Firm Ashurst LLP for over 20 years before taking up a consultancy role with them on her retirement from full-time work. Jan became a Magistrate in 2017 and currently sits on both the adult and youth North East London Benches. In 2018 Jan became a trustee of Common Purpose Charitable Trust, a global leadership organization devoted to developing leaders who can cross boundaries. Jan joined us when she was looking to add to her portfolio and following very helpful assistance with her CV and brilliant coaching she has now become a Trustee of The Association of Coloproctology in Great Britain and Ireland and of The Healthcare Management Trust.
